Since 2016, Divyam has been committed to spreading autism awareness, empowering parents, and creating inclusive spaces for children. Through awareness drives, community projects, trainings, media features, and awards, we continue to build a world where every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated.






2017
Planting the Seeds of Awareness

Introduced Divyam Centre’s vision as a safe and autism-friendly space in Mumbai.

Project SWIKAAR: Conducted training sessions for BMC school teachers and parents on identifying and supporting children with autism.

Project Jagruti (Phase 1): Reached 120+ Anganwadi workers in Mankhurd, Mumbai, through training workshops.

2018
Expanding Reach in the Community

Conducted the first BMC School Awareness Drive at Deonar Colony English Medium School.

Collaborated with Sankalp Charitable Trust, Govandi, to run parent engagement and awareness sessions.

Marked World Autism Awareness Day with events focused on sharing, sensitization, and inclusion.

2019
Professional Advocacy
At the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Dahanu, Dr. Dhanashri Pawar delivered an introductory lecture on Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), highlighting the significance of parent-led approaches in autism support.
2021
Recognition & Awards
Dr. Dhanashri Pawar received the Lokmat Trendsetters Award, felicitated by the Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, for outstanding work in the field of autism — honored among 34 trailblazers across the state.
